Today is second times for study in curriculum and learning management in English class. I learnt about teaching methods that my friends presented. They described about meaning,approach and instruction.I can apply the methods for teaching English.They are three methods that they presented such as Beliefs, Task based learning and Project based lerning.
First,Beliefs is good instruction that is not determined just by the teacher’s background and beliefs. It should responsive to students’needs, various student and classroom. The teacher should have a good relationship between students. Teachers' beliefs are all of following:(1) about language learning,(2) about learners,and(3)about themselves as language teachers.
Second,Task based learning is instruction that the students learn from the task.In other words, the teachers instruct students to did the task before they get the meaning by context.Otherwise, the teachers should be adviser for them.
Finally,Project based learning is students work in groups to solve the problems that are real and curriculum-based. Learners decide how to approach a problem and what activities to pursue. Throughout this process, the teacher's role is to guide and advise, rather than to manage students work.This method like
Task based learning method that it has the teacher's advice.
In conclusion, All of three methods has different approaches.However,teacher should have beliefs that you apply for teaching.Moreover, the teachers should role that is to guide and advise, rather than to manage student work. The methods are important for teaching English.So, I think the teachers need to learn the all of the taeching methods.Today I don't understanding that my friend presented. Then I have to search more information about teaching methods.
